I am translating strings for a cooker in a manufacturing plant. It is a bit difficult for me as I am not an expert in the technical field and having only the strings doesn´t help me either...I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out with this. I looked up in the glossary but not sure if I can translate this as "taladro" as it seems to be the most used translation.

3. Hopper Auger.

Auger: This is a rotary device that meters and transports material away from the outlet of each of the ingredient mass flow weigh hoppers, and discharges it into the cascade chute over the common weighed hopper. This can also be a hopper/metering auger unit mounted on a load cell for use with non free flowing materials.

Dependiendo de los usos, se utilizan de distintos tipos de ejes de mezcla. El mezclado puede realizarse mediante ejes de mezcla con cintas helicoidales, en espiral, de tornillo helicoidal o de paletas (entrelazados o no).
