Hola a todos

Estoy traduciendo un documento emitido por el IRS de los Estados Unidos. En el se explica que la persona en cuestión hizo una solicitud ante ese organismo. Entonces el IRS le responde diciéndole que WE RECEIVED A REQUEST FOR VERIFICATION OF NON FILING OF RETURN FOR ABOVE TAX PERIOD OR PERIODS.

Luego pone que WE HAVE NO RECORD OF FILED FORM XXXXXX OR XXXXXX.

Lo que no entiendo es esto de TRANSCRIPT DELIVERY SYSTEM CORRESPONDENCE.

Estuve investigando por ahí y encontré esto

Al parecer TRANSCRIPT DELIVERY SYSTEM o TDS es un "nuevo" sistema que permite :

Tax practitioners can now request transcripts of their client’s tax records and receive them within minutes instead of days or weeks using a new online tool delivered through the IRS Business Systems Modernization program. The Transcript Delivery System (TDS) is the latest in a series of e-services that are revolutionizing how tax practitioners work with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of their clients.

Entiendo, por lo que leo, que se pueden solicitar copias de los documentos de impuestos. ¿Es a esto a lo que se refiere TRANSCRIPT? ¿A una copia simplemente?

¿Entonces quedaría SISTEMA DE ENTREGA DE COPIAS? ¿Y qué pasa con CORRESPONDENCE? Corroboré en mi monolingüe que se refiere a communication by exchange of letters. Sin embargo, en la definición pone que es un ONLINE TOOL.

Por eso mi intento sería SISTEMA DE ENTREGA DE COPIAS y punto.

¿Alguna sugerencia?

Explanation:
Like you said the IRS answered the request.
TDS is the system itself, the correspondance is the answer received, "sent" by the system.
Also transcripts are not mere copies but expedientes...
