No se si queda bien el objeto después de estas dos opciones de verbo. ¿Se les ocurre alguna otra forma?

Creo que es correcta tu sugerencia, solo propongo cambiar "realizar" por "llevar a cabo" simplemente por cuestiones idiomáticas (cacofonía), pero por lo demás no veo por qué cambiarlo.
