Aparece en un contrato para la ampliación de capital de una empresa naviera. La definición deja claro a qué se refiere (un periodo fiscal "a caballo" entre antes y después de la fecha de la firma del contrato, pero no encuentro un término en español que suene natural).

La traducción es para España.

"Straddle Period" means any taxable period beginning prior to the Closing Date and ending after the Closing Date;"

"Pre-Closing Tax Period" means (i) any taxable period ending on or before the Closing Date and/or (ii) the portion of any Straddle Period as defined below in Section l.llix ending on the Closing Date;"
