Celestina se refiere al famoso personaje de "La Celestina" que se dedicaba precisamente a tratar de unir parejas. La palabra se ha seguido usando para indicar eso o alcahuete. Dado que es para un programa de internet, quizas no sea adecuado, pero casamentera es una opción, aunque Celestina sería algo jocoso.

Por la explocacion que nos has dado yo me decantaría por algo así. No sé si siempre se refiere a personas famosas o pueden ser conocidas o del entorno del usuario...

Explanation:
Como dice la RAE, éstas palabras harían referencia a:"Persona que concierta, encubre o facilita una relación amorosa". Que serían lo mismo que Celestina. No obstante, mi sugerencia es, si fuera posible, dejarlo sin traducir. "Matchmaker".

disagree  Ana Rona: Ojo, 'alcahuete' tiene connotaciones sumamente peyorativas en muchas partes del mundo de habla hispana. Que se use en España no quiere decir que sea una traducción deseable para el español en general, y mucho menos con fines comerciales.
