Since the article "Venezuala's grab for Guyanese oil" begins: "Guyana’s new president, David Granger, opened his country’s National Assembly last Wednesday. A cheerful vendor sold 'coalition chips.' The Joint Services band played Not a Blade O’ Grass by Dave Martins and the Tradewinds", it may be a good idea to use a parenthetical translation when it's first mentioned, i.e., "...mientras la banda de las fuerzas armadas tocaba 'Not a Blade O' Grass' (Ni Una Brizna de Pasto Más)" and then at the end, where it's mentioned again, perhaps just use the Spanish, which will serve as a cohesive device.

Independent of which country the translations is for, to me it just seems so wrong to mix an almost poetic expression with this sort of discussion about oil. It just doesn't fit.

The original quotation is from a novel "Eugene Aram"

Opino que no se usa mucho la expresión "ni una brizna de hierba más". "Ni una pizca más" se oye con mucha más frecuencia.
