English term or phrase: Eye caps
I just completed an index to a 750-page Spanish-language book on the subject of embalming. A few leftover terms (originally compiled by a translator working the index to the English-language edition of the title) are still in English, but the publisher wants those terms translated into Spanish. One such term is "eye caps," defined as a small, plastic oval shaped device, larger than a contact lens, designed to hold eyelids shut and equipped for that purpose with tiny grippers on the surface which grasp the insides of the upper and lower eyelids. (See http://www.baris.net/bfh/embalm_quest.html for details, http://www.embalmers.com/eyecaps.html for an image.) In other words, I know what the item is in English; I just don't know the proper Spanish term. Any suggestions?

P.S.: I assume the target audience is going to be mainly Spanish-speaking professional embalmers.
