With a K&N® air intake system 69-9506TTK for 2015-2017 Volkswagen Golf 1.8T or GTI 2.0T models, an engine is able to overcome restriction, better utilize available airflow, and produce more horsepower and torque. A K&N Typhoon air intake eliminates the restrictive factory intake tubes, and sound baffling by replacing them with a mandrel bent aluminum air intake tube coupled to a high-flow washable and reusable K&N air filter. The aluminum air intake tube is protected with a flat black powder coat to ensure it looks just as good as it performs.
