English term or phrase: to be admitted to degree
Hi,
this wording is on certificate:
having completed the approved course of study and passed the examinations has this day been admitted by King's College London to University of London Degrees of Bachelor of Medicine.
Think that this is actual Bachelor Diploma but the word "admitted" confuses me?

Ďakujem Nika, máte právdu, lepšie by v tomto prípade teda bolo teda použiť výraz "bol mu priznaný titul"

Thank you for the only answer. It would be correct if it was American certificate. However in UK students are admitted to bachelor degree when they are actually awarded. It is something like they enter the rank of bachelors. This comes from very old English and is very confusing indeed. Thank you again.
