Some examples of the inputs required are: investment in design, construction and equipping, processing and marketing facilities; labour; transport of fish from landing sites and to markets; financial services; variable costs such as ice, knives, wood for smoking, salt for drying, packaging materials and fish boxes; and maintenance costs.
