GBS Gravity Based Structure Struktura bez temelja Explanation: Gravity Based Structure = a structure held in place only by its weight, as most scaffoldings are. "Gravity-based structure From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A Condeep type GBS under construction in Norway A gravity-based structure (GBS) is a support structure held in place by gravity. A common application for a GBS is an offshore oil platform. These structures are often constructed in fjords since their protected area and sufficient depth are very desirable for construction. A GBS intended for use as an offshore oil platform is constructed of steel reinforced concrete, often with tanks or cells which can be used to control the buoyancy of the finished GBS. When completed, a GBS is towed to its intended location and sunk. Prior to deployment, a study of the seabed will have been done in order to ensure it can withstand the vertical load exerted on it by that structure.[1]..." gravitaciona konstrukcija Explanation: GBS = gravity-based structure = gravitaciona konstrukcija To su konstrukcije koje se horizontalnim silama (vetar, voda, zemlja ili bilo koja druga horiz. sila) suprotstavljaju samo sopstvenom težinom. pa tako imamo npr. gravitacione brane, gravitacione potporne zidove, gravitacione platforme, itd. This paper presents a comparison between level of safety provided by traditional allowable stress evaluation of monolithically built concrete gravity dams and a more recent Ultimate Limit States or Reliability Based evaluation of these gravity based structures subject to seismic and non-seismic loads. seizmičke sile predstavljaju horizontalno opterećenje Ref. na HR: http://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=... |
