Izraz "slant" se svakako prevodi kao: nagnut, kos, nagib.....nagnuti... Ovde se pominje da se triptični sojin sladni kosi agar (poli-saharid, koji se sastoji od velikog broja molekula galaktoze) sa 0,6% ekstrakta kvasca, čuva na pomenutoj temperaturi.
