wind set-down

Explanation:
There’s a well-known phenomenon to geophysicists called wind set-down and for wind set-down what you have to have is a strong wind which blows for several hours over a long stretch of water. It has to be a long stretch of water, and then the wind literally blows the water back. And you can do a simple experiment at home. You can take a glass and fill it to the brim with water, and just blow across the top surface and you’ll blow water out of the glass, over the other side.
