Freezing drizzle is drizzle that freezes on contact with the ground or an object at or near the surface. Its METAR code is FZDZ. When such drops land, it creates an icy layer of glaze. Freezing drizzle alone does not generally result in significant ice accumulations due to its light, low-intensity nature.

Super. Eu am petrecut jumătate de zi la momentul respectiv să-mi aduc aminte cuvântul "chiciură".

În cazul ăsta, freezing rain e chiciură sigur, iar freezing drizzle un polei.

disagree  irina smalley: Frost inseamna chiciura.Chiciura, bruma e gheata de pe copaci, cristale de gheata ce se formeaza dupa o ploaie sau ninsoare mai ales in timpul noptii. In conextul prezent eu zic ca e vorba de un anumit fel de burnita
