This technique was started with the use of organic solvents but now has been replaced with aqueous film coating due to environmental and regulatory considerations. Moreover the cost of any organic solvent is far more than the cost of purified water. Therefore, the conversion from organic solvent based coating to aqueous based coating makes the coating process more economical, though initially it may need a little investment to upgrade the coating facility.

Explanation:
termenul se refera la tehnologia de filmare (de acoperire cu pelicula protectoare) si nu la invelis care nu poate fi apos pentru ca altfel ar curge tableta!!!
dupa cum se poate observa si in eplicatiile citate, procedeul cu solventi organici s-a inlocuit cu unul care foloseste ca solvent apa. similar cu vopselele.

Asker: Orice film (înveliş al medicamentelor) este dizolvabil în apă. Ar fi grav dacă n-ar fi... Aici este vorba despre tehnologia de fabricare, nu despre solubilitatea în apă a comprimatelor, comprimatele oricum sunt concepute să se dizolve - în stomac, în apă, în orice.
