Numai in sensul cresterii vascozitatii. Daca se refera la scadere, se numeste fluidificator/fluidifiant sau emulgator.
Se folosesc nu numai coloizi, uneori poate sa fie vorba despre substante tensioactive (cu proprietati de "detergenti").
