Escalation procedures
When a service fails from more than a specified time, a standard escalation procedure will be initiated. The first stage of the escalation service will be for the operations staff to notify the operations manager or in his absence a Deputy Director, that the service is unavailable. The second stage of escalation will be for the Director of the ITS to be informed that the service is still unavailable. The time for the first stage and the further time for the second stage are given in the service target.
