bugio ou guariba


Explanation:
Howler monkey

Existem diferentes subespécies de bugio ocorrendo na América e o nome popular também varia. Depende do que se trata. Guariba ou bugio-preto pode ser usado para o Alouatta caraya.

Em São Paulo, por exemplo,usamos apenas "bugio", para a subespécie Aloatta guariba clamitans. No sul, chamam de bugio-ruivo (a mesma subespécie).

Não se usa "macaco ululador", embora seja reconhecido na mata por essa característica.
