Pit viper são todas as serpentes crotalíneas (parentes da cascavel e da jararaca) ou víboras-covinhas, pois possuem fosseta loreal.
Eu sugiro usar o nome científico entre parênteses: (Trimeresurus gramineus), já que diversas Trimeresurus são verdes e arborícolas.
