Daudz laimes dzimšanas dienā, mans mīļais draugs! Explanation: I wouldn't translate the word 'special' literally, as it sounds very odd in Latvian. I assume that the word 'special' could also be substituted with the word 'dear' and therefore I have translated the sentence as: Happy Birthday my dear friend. Daudz laimes dzimšanas dienā, mans mīļais draugs! [nb. for a male friend] Daudz laimes dzimšanas dienā, mana mīļā draudzene! [nb. for a female friend] |
