English term or phrase: Post
I am now in a localization of project of bulletin boards.

I have come across the following phrase:

------- Your daily new posts digest -------

This is one phrase in the news bulletin board, originally from a foreign country.

In case it is 'Your daily news digest' it is a straight to translate, But, posts is an odd.

I have often seen 'post' as a verb, for example, News posted to our bulletin board.

However, the above is used as a noun. In case of Post as a noun, it refers to goalpost, gatepost, fensepost and etc.

Although it seems like a noun, meaning something like a poster (to post with a wall with a poster), I would appreciate if you kindly give me a chance to reconfirm how I shall 'post' at this time.

postには動詞で「掲示する、ポストする(不特定多数の人が読むような形で送る)」という意味がありますので、名詞になるとそのメッセージなり、ポストしたものになるのでは?
「Your daily new posts digest 」なら、「本日のあなたの投稿ダイジェスト(または概要)」みたいな感じでしょうか?

"Eijiro on the web" (online dictionary) is quite good.

掲示 / 告知

Explanation:
Post can also be used a noun, as in this case, where it has the same meaning as the noun "notice", as in "notice board", so I think either of these would work. Perhaps 告知 works better. I hope this helps.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I have not been familiar with Alc because I was living out of Japan until recently. But your answer seems to be in the right direction.

Asker: Dear Akiko-san, Thank you very much for you information. I have tried Alc.co.jp. Their dictionary's search engines are far better than any other sites available for Japanese translation. I am feeling shameful on my unawareness with Alc.co.jp despite I have been translating to/from Japanese over 20 years. Now I got the excellent site, I would like to move on.

Explanation:
It is a noun, it means "posted messages/emails/information, etc etc..." "Post" also means "news paper" and is often used as a part in the name of news papers, such as Washington Post, Canada Post, the list goes on endlessly.

Asker: Thank you for your quick response as always. Just a reminder............Canada Post is the name of Snail Mail delivery & Collection Services company, like Japan Post (Nippon Yubin). Not a newspaper name. Also, Washington's post's POST is originally from the position, which we often refer as 'post' per my American friends. (No guarantee)
