（普通の）数/数値 Explanation: ここでは外生変数を時間によって変化していく変数として考えているようですが、 例えば外生変数の値が時間によって 10、12、15、19、26、・・・ と変化していくとすると、 この外生変数は10、12、15、19、26、・・・といった数値の時系列とみなすことができるわけで、こうした10、12、・・・といった数のことを「普通の数（ordinary numbers）」と言っているのではないでしょうか。つまり、「変数」などと区別するために「普通の数」という表現をしているのだと思います。 もう1つの可能性として、複素数、無限大、超限数などの「普通ではない」数と区別するために「普通の数」と言っている可能性もあります。 いずれにしても日本語としては「普通の」をつけるとかえって変な気もしますから、訳には工夫が必要かと思います。 単に「数」、「値」、「数値」でいいかもしれませんし、 多少言葉を補うことが許されるなら「それ（＝外生変数）が取る値の時系列として」というような訳を検討されてもよいかと思います（文脈によりますが）。 |
