The appropriate translation for "amount of benefit" should differ depending on the nature of the benefit. If is part of social security such as superannuation, unemployment benefit and childcare subsidy, 給付額 is appropriate. But, if it is a benefit paid by a private insurance company, 給付金支払額 is more appropriate because 給付額 implies payment by the authority. (In fact, private insurance companies generally use the term 支払い instead of 給付 for "payment" of benefit. )
