English term or phrase: Shirts and shorts in three stripes, employees ripped off
. Thousands of redundant workers mortified the Dassler family by demonstrating in front of the company headquarters in Herzogenaurach. “Shirts and shorts in three stripes, employees ripped off,” they chanted. From 1987 to 1992, the global workforce would be nearly halved from about 11,000 to 6,400 people

Does this mean, employees are given shirts and underpants of thier own productsion instead of salary?

What would be a good way to translate the chanting?

Thank you very much. It's realy hard to come up with appropriate chant in different languages. I think your suggestion is the closer to the situation.

Thank you again and I also would like to express my thankfulness to all those who gave me suggestions.

Explanation:
This chant is *extremely* awkward-sounding in English - it's practically a tongue-twister(早口言葉). Don't forget that this is the translation of the original German chant, which I imagine probably rolled off the tongue a lot more smoothly.
Anyway, I think that a 直訳 into Japanese may sound equally awkward, especially as a chant, so my version is a lot more toned down, you could say.
Interestingly, the English "rip(ped) off" here may be doubly meaningful:
to rip off someone's clothes
and
to rip off (a person) - the case of the employees here

So something along the lines of the following may work (?)

Good luck, Jack-san!

Explanation:
