I am not too sure on the attachment between pitching motion and actual throwing, by a pitcher.

How can I translate into Japanese?

他にも日本語で色々に表現できると思いますが、create an (emotional) attachment/excitement　のことだと思います。キャラクターにただの投球の動作をさせるのではなくて、感情投入したり（具体的にどんなものかというと、このゲームはしたことがないのでわからないのですが...シミュレーションゲームではキャラに結構感情投入されています）、細やか状況描写を加えたりすることで、プレーヤーに、例えば「９回裏２アウト走者２、３塁、バッター４番」の臨場感を体験できるようにしている、ってことだと思います。
