吹き替えと混同されやすいが、ボイスオーバーの方が数段難しい。基本的に本人の言葉を会話の冒頭で少し聞かせつつフェードイン。最後は少し早めに切り上げ、本人の言葉で会話が終わるようにフェードアウトする。
