Neither Miles's clothes nor Asymptote's architecture have an overtly technological look to them but that is part of magic of *suspending beleif*, whether in architecture or fashion.

宙吊りの信念？？

Miele seems to like to display his clothes in suspended form. I wonder if there is some pun attempted.

agree  Kurt Hammond: suspend belief means that you don't really believe it, but you are allowing yourself to believe it for some reason. For instance, you 'suspend belief' when you're watching a movie and the plot becomes too stupid to be believable, but you go along anyway.
