Copperhead è un serpente velenoso della specie contortrix e il genere Agkistrodon .
Copperhead è il più comune dei serpenti velenosi orientale, ma il suo veleno è considerato relativamente mite come morsi Copperhead la maggior parte sono fatali per piccoli animali, ma non gli esseri umani. Attenzione medico deve essere sempre cercato subito dopo un morso copperhead come le punture di solito sono dolorose. Il tipo di veleno copperheads portare distrugge i tessuti che possono causare infezioni secondarie.
Il Copperhead è della famiglia Viperidae che significa che è un tipo di vipera buca.

Meglio non tradurre troppo letteralmente, semmai solo un inciso (testa di rame) tra parentesi.
