Salve a tutti! mi sono permessa di inviare la risposta perché l'ho trovata su Wikipedia e soprattutto su un sito di ornitologia tutto dipende da quanto è tecnico il tuo testo. Il nome comune può andare tra parentesi. O no?

L'italiano non deve sempre per forza somigliare o prendere in prestito dall'inglese. se invece leggo male io e la traduzione che si richiedeva era dal latino in inglese, mi scuso e con l'occasione auguro una buona notte a tutti.

Scusa, ma se la tua target language era l'italiano, come fai a mettere "Chaco Owl" per un animale che non proviene da un luogo di lingua inglese e che in italiano puoi benissimo chiamare "Gufo del Chaco"?

Well, I've had a thorough look on the Web. No Italian equivalent from my research. Could you leave it in the Latin? I just found "gufo" = owl.
and "di Chaco"/"di terra di Chaco". Then again, the bird is from the area near Paraguay, so perhaps
