potrebbe essere (leggermente) parziale a proprio favore Explanation: Credo tu abbia ragione nel presupporre una valenza (para) giuridica del termine. Poiché in quel campo si parla di testimoni imparziali, ho tradotto il termine come "parziale", che però mi sembra un pò forzato. Metterei "di parte" oppure "poco imparziale", che mi sembrano più discorsivi. Il "leggermente" vuole essere un'assonanza sarcastica, che mi sembra di percepire nella frase riportata. HTH |

potrebbero essere non obiettivi a proprio favore Explanation: Leggo che Paul Popenoe era un consulente matrimoniale e un sostenitore dell'eugenetica, e leggendo il testo source ( http://bit.ly/Yp2ZFG ), mi sembra solo che stesse dicendo che il divieto di matrimonio per i "malati di mente" non fosse efficace per quel motivo, perché cioè potevano mentire, proponendo quindi l'internamento in manicomio. |
