English term or phrase: Deck lug
Connect rope to hard point (deck lug), fully retract the Ram Tensioner and discharge all air pressure from the ram and interconnecting piping.

Reattach the highline end fitting to the deck lug and apply tension to rope.

Questo è tutto quello che ho.
Che sia qualcosa di solido a cui agganciare una corda è chiaro, ma come si chiama in italiano?

sono partita dall'immagine di graysonline per la mia ricerca
e comunque ci sono ponticelli di varie forme e dimensioni, come per le bitte
forma e funzioni sono analoghe, a ponticello appunto
in genere è consigliabile non chiudere le domande così presto

Asker: Grazie, scusa ma ho trovato "bitta".

Asker: Ok, può darsi che mi sia sbagliato, però i deck lug che si vedono nel link di graysonline sono diversi dai ponticelli degli altri link.

Asker: Sono arrivato a "bitta" perché "hard point" (o "hardpoint") è un punto di aggancio sugli aerei, "lug" è un elemento strutturale sporgente e sul ponte di una nave di elementi strutturali sporgenti ci sono le bitte, che servono appunto a fissare le funi. Mi pareva plausibile. Ora però l'immagine del "deck lug" di graysonline mi ha un po' messo in crisi. Tra l'altro nel testo compare anche "stow lug", una volta sola, sempre con un cavo attaccato. Bisogna però considerare che l'inglese dell'originale non è sempre perfetto, quindi c'è anche la possibilità che la terminologia non sia molto accurata.
