Sto traducendo diversi testi sulle unità di lunghezza anglosassoni e non e dalle mie ricerche risulta che il termine "americano" è usato pochissimo. Si utilizza piuttosto l'aggettivo "statunitense" o anche si lascia accanto alla specifica unità di misura ("piede", "catena", etc.) la dicitura "US survey". |
