occasione

Definition from own experience or research:
A series of circumstances that give you a good opportunity to do / fulfill something.

Example sentence(s):
  • Non lasciarsi sfuggire una buona occasione - Garzanti Linguistica
  • È un'occasione da non perdere. - Dizy.com
  • “La prima cosa nella vita è saper cogliere un'occasione. La seconda capire quando lasciarla perdere.” - Quotation from Benjamin Disraeli

Explanation:
In Italian, we have a more literal translation for this term, but it is a verb: it's "aprire delle porte". E.g.: Questa opportunità ti aprirà molte porte nel lavoro". This verb led to a noun, too, which is "apriporta", but it is quite rare and that's why I haven't suggested it as a target term.

"Door opener" is very idiomatic, so I've tried to provide a solution that may work as a translation for it in every context.
