Asker: Ci sta :-) Il contesto è minimo, in realtà, perché ogni frase indica un significato che la carta può avere. Quella che indico non ha alcun legame con quanto precede o segue. Per cui direi che, in questo caso, si riferisce proprio al doppio controllo di una certa attività per non sbagliare. Grazie! :-)
