English - Indonesian Explanation: Pony sometimes means "kuda kecil", "anak kuda", or even "kuda kerdil" depending on what you'd like to refer to in the context. Table means "meja" like in dinner table "meja makan" or kitchen table "meja dapur". However, desk definitely means "mejatulis" as it refers to a desk in an office. Hopefully this helps a little. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day4 hrs (2006-02-04 21:05:17 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "so does the word poni not exist in Bahasa Indonesian then? and is meja tulis one word or two?" - Hi Judy: the word poni does not exist in Bahasa Indonesia. As for mejatulis, it is written as one word. - Ref: Kamus Inggris-Indonesian, Echols & Shadily. |
