English to Hungarian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Military / Defense / dízel-elektromos meghajtású tengeralattjáró
English term or phrase: compressed cavitation
Kontextus: Insufficient hard copy for form classification - aural, compressed cavitation, one shaft, five blades...

A compressed jelzőt nem tudom összekapcsolni a kavitációval.
Köszönöm a segítséget.

Hungarian translation:nyomás alatti kavitáció
Explanation:

The explanation of cavitation you have rooted out for us is a wee bit technical for people not involved with passive sonar so I will have a go for the layman. It is the slashing noise made by a ships(boats) propellor as it drives it through the water.Generally speaking in merchant ships the faster the screw is turning the louder the noise it makes.Due to the laws of physics this noise gives of a rythym which matches the revs of the propeller shaft. This is what sonar operators in boats(mainly) are listening for and what helps them decide what type of vessel they are hearing. There are other factors but I'll stick to cavitation. As a propellor gets deeper in the water the noise from it is squeezed giving the chirping cheeping noise that is called compressed cavitation.Much trouble is gone to with a modern boats propellor design to keep this noise to a minimum.

Cavitation at depth is a much more severe process than cavitation near the surface. The collapse of the bubble happens more quickly and violently - it's called compressed cavitation. That's where your prop damage occurs. It also sounds much different, like a very loud "squick squick squick" as opposed to the more constant white noise sound of normal cavitation.

EZ AZ! Az utolsó link megvilágosított, köszönöm! Végül a mélységi kavitációt választottam.

Explanation:
A kavitáció jelentése: kavitáció, üregesedés, űrképződés.

4.4 A hajócsavar kavitációja

A hajó által igényelt tolóerő biztosításához a legnagyobb nyomáskülönbség a cél a hajócsavar két oldalán ezt a szárnymetszet alakjának (íveltségének, vastagságelosztásának) változtatásával el tudjuk érni.

Azonban a nyomáskülönbség növelésének hatása van.

Ha a legkisebb nyomású helyen a nyomás értéke eléri a telített vízgőz nyomását. akkor a vízben gőzbuborékok keletkeznek. Ezt a jelenséget kavitációnak nevezzük.

Tehát a hajócsavar szárnyának szélességét (a szárnymetszetek hosszát) a jobb hatásfok elérése érdekében csak addig csökkenthetjük amíg a megfelelő tolóerő biztosításához szükséges nyomása alá, azaz amíg nem lép fel a kavitáció.

A gőzbuborékok a vízzel együtt haladnak. Így előbb-utóbb olyan helyre keri.ilnek, ahol a nyomás már nagyobb a telített vízgőz nyomásánál. Itt a buborékokat kitöltő gőz ismét folyékony halmazállapotba kerül. Így a térfogata közelítően 1/800 részére csökken. E lecsapódás igen rövid idő alatt következik be. Ha a gőzbuborék a hajócsavar szárnyának felületén omlik össze, a buborék külső oldalát határoló vízrészecskék rendkívül nagy gyorsulással haladnak a megszűnt buborék helyén, s nagy sebességgel ütköznek a szárny felületéhez.

A hajócsavar szárnyainak rezgése hangjelenséggel járhat együtt.

A vákuumbuborék összeomlásakor akár több száz bar nyomású, apró folyadéksugár is kialakulhat, amelynek felületbe történő becsapódásakor a felületből mikroszkopikus méretű anyagdarab válhat le."
