The public health measures implemented at points of entry (ports, airports, ground crossings) on travelers (crew and passengers) arriving to a country, with the purpose to assess the exposure to a biological agent (bacterium, virus, parasite) and/or the presence of symptoms.

Az országba érkező utasok szűrése (különböző módszerekkel), hogy a fertőzésben megbetegedett személyek belépését lehetőleg elkerüljék, vagy őket elkülönítsék (karantén), és ezzel lassítsák vagy csökkentsék a betegség terjedését az országban.
