működési engedély Explanation: Ehhez a magyar fogalomhoz van szerintem a legközelebb. Lásd: University charter is a charter given by provincial, state, regional, and sometimes national governments to legitimize the university's existence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_charter A provisional charter egyfajta ideiglenes működési engedély az absolute charter pedig fordítható talán korlátlan működési engedélyként. A kettő közötti különbség: An institution with a provisional charter has all the corporate powers and duties of an institution with an absolute charter, except for in the case of institutions offering courses leading to academic degrees, such degrees are conferred by the Board of Regents until the charter has been made absolute. http://www.northwestregisteredagent.com/new-york-regents-boa... Illetve itt is van egy kis leírás a provisional és az absolute charterről: http://www.counsel.nysed.gov/instructions-and-sample-forms-e... |

Reference: Charter vs. certificate of incorporation Reference information: "..4. Regents Certificates of incorporation As pointed out above, the document by which colleges, universities, schools, libraries, museums, historical societies and public television and/or radio corporations are incorporated by the Regents is referred to as a charter. The document by which all other education corporations are created is known as a certificate of incorporation. The procedures and required documents for the issuance of a Regents certificate of incorporation are the same as those pertaining to a provisional charter, except that the petition should request the issuance of a certificate of incorporation. The legal effect of a Regents certificate of incorporation is precisely the same as that of an absolute charter. The fee for a Regents certificate of incorporation is $100, payable to New York State Education Department." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2017-02-11 19:47:36 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Tehát a két dolog ugyanaz, csak a név más attól függően, hogy pontosan milyen típusú iskola vagy oktatási-művelődési célú intézmény létrehozásárül van szó. Szerintem egyértelmű, hogy a "certificate of incorporation" az magyarul alapító okirat, és a fenti magyarázatból világos, hogy a "charter" az ugyanaz.
