English term or phrase: What horses are entered in this race?
I want to know if the term 'entered' is a technical term for horseracing? or does it simply mean, "what horses are running in this race'? I have this doubt because the document I am translating also has "How many horses are running in this race?". is is "running in the race" and "entering in the race" are different? maybe something related to betting?
