"if it's got tits or tires it's going to be trouble." Pl see below. Explanation: I think the word is not so offensive. The english word is a slang. According to dictionary of slang "Tit"is 1. A woman's breast, usually applied in the plural, as tits. 2. An imbecile, an objectionable person. 3. A push-button. E.g."Come on, hurry! Push the tit, we're running out of time - fire evrything we've got at them!" [Orig. Military use] (http://www.peevish.co.uk) Here obviously we can select No.2. So the word is : अगर यह अल्पबुद्धि हो या तंग करे तो गड़बड़ी हो जाएगी Agar yah alpbuddhi ho yaa tang kare to garhbarhee ho jaaegee. I think this fits here. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-05-17 03:28:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Please read the web address http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/htm |

"if it's got tits or tires it's going to be trouble." "अगर इसके चूचुक या पहिए हैं, तो इससे परेशानी होगी" OR अगर यह महिला या वाहन है, तो इससे परेशानी होगी Explanation: Transliteration: Agar iskey choochuk yA pahiye hai)n), to issay pareshAnii hogi OR Agar yeh mahil/A yA vAhan hai, to issay pareshAnii hogii. Because if it's got tits, it's a woman, and women are generally trouble for man (so a man would say). If it's got tires it's an automobile and they are generally a constant source of trouble for their owners. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2007-05-17 04:37:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It is very difficult to know the exact meaning or sense of this sentence in the absence of context. If the implied or symbolic meaning of this sentence is : one way or another it will cost you, then you may consider using - इससे आपको किसी न किसी तरह परेशानी होगी (Issay Apko kisee n kisee tarah pareshAnii hogi- It will trouble you one way or the other) -इससे आपको किसी न किसी तरह भुगतना होगा - Issay Apko kisee n kisee tarah bhugatanA hogA-You will have to pay in one or the other due to it.) |
