Yes  Amar Nath: I have gone through lots of medical literatures and now, i feel सक्रिय पोषण is more appropriate to translate the term responsive feeding in a broader context. Sorry for my last comment.

  -> It is important to make language simple so that the meaning reaches the target reader. क्लिष्‍ट भाषा से आप अर्थ संप्रेषित नहीं कर सकते। feeding का सीधा अर्थ केवल दुग्‍धपान ही नहीं है।
Yes  Pundora: WHO की दी हुई परिभाषा के अनुसार इसे active feeding भी कहते हैं. दूसरी बात, सक्रिय पोषण में बच्चे को खाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने का भाव भी निहित है. अतः मेरे विचार से यही सबसे सही अनुवाद है.
