Relatively strong winds that are concentrated in a narrow band in the atmosphere. Jet Streams are usually thousands of kilometers long, hundreds of kilometers wide but only a few kilometers thick. They are usually found between 6 and 10 miles above the surface.

No  Shashi Kant Singh: In geography, the word "stream" is used for wind as well as water current (for example Hot water current of Gulf Stream). Therefore, instead of वायुधारा, the word धारा or प्रवाह would be a better option as it could be used in both references.

  -> Thanks Shashiji. I agree with your opinion, but धारा or प्रवाह is normally used for "Flow" which is not a case here. If we use this word, it may confuse users, so to make it clear I used वायुधारा. Also, both the words are widely being used, pls see examp.
