impressum अंकन, अंकित करना, छाप, प्रकाशक, छापने वाले का नाम इत्यादि जो पुस्तक पर छपा रहता है Explanation: It may be translated as 'Imprint' or 'Impression'. Please see the below definition. "An impressum (from Latin impressum, "the impressed, engraved, pressed in, impression", engl. imprint) is the term given to a legally mandated statement of the ownership and authorship of a document, which must be included in books, newspapers, magazines[1] and websites[2] published in Germany and certain other German-speaking countries, such as Austria and Switzerland." impressum प्रकाशन विवरण Explanation: Impressum is a specific term of German law, and has no equivalent even in English (as per this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressum). In English, this term is generally translated as imprint, colophon, masthead, etc. It generally contains information about the ownership of the publication - something like a copyright statement. So I suggest you use प्रकाशन विवरण for this term. Other possible terms could be ध्वज-लेख, शीर्ष लेख, etc, which are literal translations of the term mast-head or colophon. |
