Explanation:
Bhukti/भुक्तिः in Sanskrit means "Authorised Material"/"that which is utilised"/"that which is enjoyed"/food, etc. Hence a Satrapy (to borrow a Persian Term of the time of Darius. Its modern term is Provincial Government. At a later period in History, the terms सूबा, सूबेदार/Viceroy, etc., came into vogue.The head of a Bhukti/भुक्तिः, Provincial Government can be best described by the term "Satrap" therefore.
