English term or phrase: center-tapped transformer
A power transformer is called "center-tapped" if in addition to the two output contacts at the two ends of the secondary coil, there is a third contact which is made to a point exactly halfway along the seondary coil. In this way, the output of the transformer has this center tap to be grounded, so that the two ends of the output are exact inverses one of the other.
A center-tapped transformer is one of the two main components of a circuit which transforms input AC current into output DC current. (The other component is a set of diodes arranged into a a "diode bridge rectifier").

I know how to say "transformer" in Hebrew: שנאי
But I need to know how to express this specific type of transformer with a center-tap.

It should be obvious that in places that use British and not American spelling, this phrase is written: "Centre-tapped transformer".
