Άρα, μάλλον λάθος είναι η ορθογραφία Diamontina. Σύμφωνα με το ελληνικό National Geographic, http://www.nationalgeographic.gr/0101/geographica.html, η περιοχή λέγεται Ντιαμαντίνα. Κρύσταλλος χαλαζία της Ντιαμαντίνα, θα έλεγα. Όπως φαίνεται, στα ορυχεία Minas Gerais της Βραζιλίας υπάρχουν πάρα πολλές ποικιλίες χαλαζία. http://www.geo.auth.gr/106/8_silicates/tecto/quartz.htm Όμως, μου κάνει εντύπωση που το αναφέρεις ως συνώνυμο με τον tausonite, που είναι ορυκτό στροντίου και τιτανίου, ενώ ο χαλαζίας είναι ορυκτό του πυριτίου. Από πλευράς χημικής ορολογίας είναι λάθος. Ίσως πρόκειται για τερτίπια της γεμολογίας. Ο ταουσονίτης είναι ένα από τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιούνται ως απομίμηση διαμαντιών.
