| 'decision by authority' rule κανόνας -απόλυτου/ης κύρους/γνώμης ή αδιαμφισβήτητης γνώμης Explanation: Κανόνας- απόλυτου κύρους απόλυτης γρώμης αδιαμφισβήτητης γνώμης I am of the same opinion, as Andras, as to the 'splitting' of the sentence, ie It is a rule of 'decision by authority'. What I understand of this is the following :- Suppose there are 4 judges to judge an event (dancing with the Stars!!!!???) One of those judges is a Senior Judge, i.e. has more authority than the other 3. If two judges vote 'Yes', one judge votes 'No', then if the Senior (casting) judge votes 'No' you have 2 'yeses' and 2 'nos'. However, because the Senior judge has more 'Authority' the motion result is 'No' |
