(Oz/NZ) estate and interest; (UK land) tenure Besitzverhältnis(se) bzw. - recht Explanation: I assume this is Australia. A UK land (or charge = with mortgages) cert. - even on e-conveyancing - would not read that way. Otherwise, a complex English Common Law - land law - issue. estate here: not deceaseed's (US. decedent's) as a Nachlaßvermögen but e.g. ultimately by the GB Monarchy !; or. next down, a fee simple absolute in possession > mediaeval for freehold/ Grundbesitz; a term of years/ ein Miet-/(AUT) Bestandverhältnis. There is 'privity of contract' (ein Vertragsrechtsverhältnis) between a head landlord or - lady and a tenant. There is privity of 'estate' (ung. ein Besitzverhältnis) - but not prvity of contract (none made) - between a head landlord and a subtenant. Interest (Eigentumsrecht) 'carved thereout' (out of the freehold > ung. Grundbesitz) e.g. a long building lease(hold) > ein Erbbaurecht or (weak) possessory leasehold: ung. Mietverhältnis auf Zeit. PS There is or used to be a dual-qualified German/ New Zealand Woman Solicitor on ProZ who can probably explain this better for consumption 'Down Under'... Alles klar? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 20 hrs (2019-09-18 08:31:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In a nutshell/ zusammenfassend: compare a freehold estate and a leasehold interest in such, Example sentence(s):
