Wie kann man "imaging community" am besten übersetzen, oder wäre es angebracht den englischen Ausdruck zu benuzen?

Den Satz könnte man also wie folgt übersetzen:

"Unsere Mission ist es, führend in der weltweit vernetzten bildverarbeitenden Gemeinschaft/Industrie zu sein/werden."

Ich würde also "imaging community" sehr wohl übersetzen. Es gibt keinen Grund, es nicht zu tun. Und "community" würde ich eher mit "Industrie" als mit "Gemeinschaft" übersetzen.

Aber das ist nur ein Vorschlag.

agree  Julia Schell (X): Ich finde auch das "bildverarbeitende Industrie" viel selbstbewusster klingt als eine Version mit Anglizismen. Gerade im Marketing/PR klingt es sonst, als ob man sich zu sehr an Vorbildern aus UK oder USA orientiert.
