ich habe hier eine kleine, fast schon private Umfrage über den Konsum von bestimmten Substanzen, e.g., painkillers (like Vicodin), stimulants (like Ritalin or Adderall), sedatives or tranquilizers (like sleeping pills or Valium), or drugs like marijuana, cocaine or crack, club drugs (like ecstasy), hallucinogens (like LSD), heroin, inhalants or solvents (like glue), or methamphetamine (like speed)

Vicodin in ein Schmerzmittel, das in den USA auf dem Markt ist.
Vicodin® ist ein US-amerikanisches Arzneimittel, welches das schmerz- und hustenlindernde Opioid → Hydrocodon und das schmerzstillende Analgetikum → Paracetamol enthält. In der Schweiz sind die Wirkstoffe als einzeln als Monopräparate, aber nicht kombiniert erhältlich. Meine Übersetzung ist für Deutschland. Da gibt es kein Schmerzmittel in dieser Wirkstoffkombination.
Meine Frage ist hier, wie ich "Vicodin" am besten im Deutschen ausdrücke. Hydrocodon-Paracetamol-Präparate?

Asker: Vielen Dank. Die Frage wird an Menschen gestellt, die sich in Deutschland aufhalten. Wie sollen die Vicodin nehmen?

Asker: Ok, die anderen Substanzen sind ja in DE auch teilweise illegal erhältlich, aber immerhin erhältlich. Vielleicht sollte ich bei Vicodin bleiben.

Für so eine Aufzählung "Schmerzmittel wie z.B." ist es wahrscheinlich nicht essenziell, dass es sich um genau denselben Codein-Abkömmling handelt. In Deutschland gibt es eine ähnliche Kombination, Paracetamol + Dihydrocodein, die als Gelonida, Talvosilen oder Paracetamol Comp im Handel ist.
